The snow is melting and the flowers are appearing, with temperatures slowly climbing higher with every passing day. The hours of daylight are finally starting to balance with that of night. Occasional showers pass through the city, though are usually gone within a couple of hours. Most days are sunny and warm, with temperatures between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
February 16, 2010;; Closing : All of the hard work put into making this site come to life has not been working in the favor of this site. Without any active members, the future that I had hoped for this site is impossible to achieve. I have tried many different ways to make our activity level go up, but none of them have worked. As a result, I have decided to close down Breaking Point, knowing that there is no possible way this site can reach its full potential with only staff members signing on each day. I hate to see this site go after all the hard work that has been put into it, and the vision of what this site could have become. Maybe Breaking Point will reopen in the future, but until then this site is officially closed. Thank you to those who tried to help in keeping this site active, and goodbye to all our members. I will miss you all and the site.

Breaking Point is an advanced level role play site. We have a 300 word minimum for every in character post on our site. The site just opened officially on August 10th 2009 and is looking for active and experienced role players. We hope that you will become a part of Breaking Point.
The year is 2120, human population; slowly diminishing. Over the past few decades, a mysterious illness has swept through the city of Grafton. In the beginning, the symptoms seemed like nothing, at least not something that one would seek help for. As the years passed, the affects of the disease began to progress on those who were below the age of nine and above the age of twenty-one. In less than a week's time, the illness had wiped out the entire adult population of the city, leaving only those between the ages of ten and twenty-one. The younger of this small group was seemingly unaffected by the disease, but the symptoms were proven to worsen with age. However, these humans were not entirely alone. The canines who resided in the city, both feral and once house pets, were not at all victim to the disease as the humans were. The feral dogs could not be happier to see the elimination of the inferior race slowly coming, while those who had once lived side-by-side with humans, could not bear to see those who remained suffering. The canines who were determined to speed the process along, began to hunt down the youth and finish the task that the disease had yet to complete. They formed a pack by the name of Aeron, a group feared by canines and humans alike. The opposing canine group, named Alyx, chose to fight against the rest of their kind and protect the humans who they had resided with for so many years. Within the world of dogs, tension began building. For the humans, it was becoming impossible to tell who really was man's best friend and who was more than willing to claim their lives. With conflict arising, which side will you be on? It is only a matter of time before the residence of the city reach their finite breaking point.
